Record No 84 Quick Release Heavy Duty Engineers Bench Vice 4 1/2″ x 6.0″ – Mint. Superb condition engineers vice. This vice has been dismantled, rust removed with electrolysis and then wire brushed, filed, sanded and polished ready for painting. Painted in metal primer and then 2 top coats of BS381C 110 Roundel Blue 2k Acrylic. Tight vice that doesn’t slip, jaws are in good condition and close parallel. Quick release has strong spring back and vice slides smoothly fully in and out. There are some residual markings from age and use over the years but this is a wonderful example of a strong British made tool that will last another lifetime.
