Workshop Work Table Bench Surface Heavy Duty Wooden Garage Workbench Leg Kit NEW

Just add 2×4’s and plywood or particle board to the 2x4basics workbench legs to make a workbench in any length or width up to 8 ft. (2.4 m x 1.2 m). Simple assembly with only a powered screwdriver and a saw, only straight, 90° cuts are required – no miters or angles. It is strong, sturdy 2×4 framing and advanced engineering makes the 2×4 basics workbench stronger and more stable than other available workbenches and storage solutions. Each shelf will hold up to 1000 pounds (400kg). You are no longer limited to a “standard size” workbench. Make a unit as small as 2 ft. By 2 feet to use as a power tool stand, or make the largest workbench available on the market. When used in conjunction with the 2×4 basics shelf links , workbench legs can effectively satisfy your storage and work surface requirements in the garage, basement, shed, or anywhere in the home or workplace. Work surface height is approximately 36 in. (90 cm) when assembled. Did this on the top and bottom and used 4 double braces across the 8 foot sections also. 2×4 Basics is the best way to build workbenches of practically any size. The legs are strong and the pre-drilled holes are very convenient. There is absolutely no guessing as to where to put the screws in. The best part is that assembling these benches is accomplished with just one person. I assembled two of them (one just like the picture here shows) in about two hours. To cut the 2×4’s to size, a miter saw will be your best friend when assembling these benches. Anyone who needs a bench built quickly should get this product. After I got my 2 x 4 frames together, it only took about 15 minutes to attach the legs. And it’s LEVEL. I had one of these before and it made for a solid work surface. That one was left behind at the old house so I bought another. This time I added some casters so I can move it about the garage. I got this because I wanted a craft table and I wanted it to have particular dimensions. I actually bought the unit that had the shelflinks included but never built with them, so mine looks pretty much like the picture, but I painted the 2×4 before I built it. I did not build with the middle shelf, however I did use 2×4 in the middle as extra support on three sides. My orginal assembly, I just wanted the top table and a large open space underneath. I just moved and put this together in a basement so decided to keep the very bottom open for now (might need that extra 2×4 for the middle shelf, but not sure yet). I used 3/4 plywood (decent smooth stuff) for the top and the other shelf. Mine is solid and has some good mass. It doesn’t bump or jar easily. I’m 200+ pounds and I can stand or sit on it with no effect on the table. I sank a few short drywall screws into the top so that it was tight. Use the 2×4 Basics Workbench Kit to make a custom workbench to fit anywhere you need a work surface or a storage area. Simply add 2x4s and plywood or particleboard to these leg supports to create a workbench 36 in.
